i'm so excited for my little trip to AZ!!!!

and adrienne, april, and chelsey visiting me in may!!! all happening in a two week period.

in my dreams there were werewolves and a presidental rally. you know that guy from the burger king commercial? well, there were people in obama and clinton costumes. they had oversized heads.

i was walking around and chanting vote for clintion.

then something about climbing through a window and photobooths.

so weird.

out of all the things that could happen to me before i move home, i get a job offer that i have a hard time refusing...

the family friend that i ran into like a month ago at the gas station has bought out his partner for their auto mechanic shop. he has offered me the job numerous times since we ran into each other, but i always declined.

however, i went out to dinner with him and his wife yesterday and she was like, "ok, we have a business proposition for you. we will match what you are getting paid now, plus commission." she also said she could pay a small portion of that in cash. they will pay for my health insurance. then she offered me a room in their house for $350 a month rather than the $550 i am paying now. And!!! i only have to work 30 hours a week. meaning i will have time to either take online classes, or take classes else where... another thing is, i don't know how long they plan on running the shop for, they said that if they do sell it, they would also pay me a bonus.

the whole point of me moving home is to go back to school and help my mom out, but if i stay i can still go to school and send money home. i know if i move home, i won't be able to help out that much with bills.

why must i be so conflicted!!! i told jazmin this tonight when we were driving around. it got quiet and she was like, "you're staying"

haha. i think i would if my mom gave me the go ahead, cause i promised her when i went back home in november that i was going to move home. i'm good on my word, unless she says not to come home.

things i am excited for:

adrienne visiting me!! she's down here for a lgbt conference in LA, but we're going to meet up somewhere.

road trip with amy and miko to arizona to see tegan and sara!! also to visit miko's mom at the end of april. PLUS!!!! bonding with lee ann, who i've been lj friends with forever!!! drinks+ tegan and sara= good times.

adrienne coming down again with chelsey so we can go to disneyland in the beginning of may.

red visiting me and we're going to go see thrice and perhaps disneyland again at the end of may.

For those of you who don't already know, there has been a strike scheduled for Friday, March 21st, 2008, during which we hope to have many members of LiveJournal provide LJ with absolutely no content for twenty-four hours. This means no posting and no commenting. If you post elsewhere and have it set up to be posted through a feed on LiveJournal, don't do it. Stay away from LiveJournal for twenty-four hours. That can't be too hard, can it? I know some of you are probably quite active on LiveJournal and will find it hard to stay away for an entire day, just as I will, but this is something that needs to be done, to show the people running LiveJournal that we're watching the changes they are making, that we're paying attention, that we're discontent, and that we want to be heard and taken in to consideration. We are not simply users who can be tossed to the side and ignored. We are the people who make up LiveJournal. Without us, without the content we create, without our words, our voices, our creativity, our participation, there would be no LiveJournal. This is a fact, and it needs to be realized and understood and then taken in to consideration when making decisions regarding the way that LiveJournal is run. The strike is only a few days away, so there isn't all too much time to prepare. While this is unfortunate, it isn't enough to keep this strike from taking place. It will take place, the second it is meant to, and it would be best to have as many people take part as possible. Please, spread the word. Spread it fast. There are only a few days to organize this. If you find that you care about LiveJournal or care about the people you interact with on LiveJournal or simply want it to remain a place where you can entertain yourself without constant censorship and money-hungry practices being thrown in without the consideration of those who use the service, act now. If you don't wish to spread the word, that is fine, but please: refrain from using LiveJournal on Friday, March 21st. Do something else for a change. It's for a good cause. (:
